Creative beadwork and bead embroidery have been favorite hobbies for the past 20 years. I began collecting beads over 30 years ago and have a wide variety of beads to use now in my own creations, along with gemstones and unique contemporary finds.

Another passion of mine is creating small pieced fiber art purses with beautiful fabrics, which I lavishly hand embroider and embellish in my own style in a modern version of the old fashioned Victorian crazy quilts. I use contemporary and antique beads, seedbeads, gemstone beads, original lampwork glass cabochons, dyed vintage lace, silk ribbon embroidered flowers and vines done by hand, various fibers, fabric images, and beautiful vintage glass or fancy metal buttons for closures. This gives these little art purses eye-catching appeal and also makes them a great conversation piece, as they are truly one of a kind.
